I was practically forced into buying a car recently. My car broke down and I sold it for 2 grand.

I figured even with bad credit that it would be a good deposit on a car for under 5 grand. However, none of there cars are in that price range, but you will not know that until the day you need to sign! They are very kind and speak to you as if they are truly concerned for you, your credit and your budget. They ask you a lot of questions and request a lot from you.

The car I got was a 2001 Chrysler Voyager with 47k on it. Blue book says its under 4 grand, JD Buy Rider says it's 12! I can't believe it's not illegal to hike up a price by that much.

I have kids and no other choice or time to look around to possibly find my miracle car, so I took it. If my credit is not pristine after this I'm suing for false advertisement.

why all the rude comments? i am having issues with the car i purchased from jd byrider as well.

i have had the car for a little over a year and a half. I got the car because i was working two jobs and needed a car that day. I am very unhappy as I am paying 140.00 every two weeks for a 1998 pontiac sunfire that had 204*** miles. the alternator (sp?) has already needed to be replaced, the radiator has been replaced, and the radiator is leaking once again( was replaced three months ago).

I am at the point where I am about done with this car! Two months after I bbought it i decided it was time for a cleaning, went to clean it out and, well i never sit in the back seat an hadnt realized that the seat was just kind of placed there. I lifted it up and it was filled with chunks of broken glass. i would be even more unhappy with that if i had childeren that sat back there and had gotten cut.

The car is making noises, which i have been told are "ok" but i don't believe that it's ok.

I want to just return this car but don't want to damage my credit too bad, i am even willing to pay a coupe hundred dollars or whatever to get this car off my hands. i had better luck with cars i paid 900 for on craigslist!

"Boo Hoo", "Intelligent Person" and "Us"--Who do you think you are? Does it make you feel smarter or more manly to demean and verbally abuse people? You're a disgrace to humanity.

My boyfriend purchased a car on the 18th and after reviewing the contract he decided he didn't want the car because he was basically getting ripped off. Called the dealership the next day and asked if he could return the car.

Of course they said no and was very rude. After the rude service and dissatisfaction I contacted their corporate office via email. On the next business day my bf received a call from the local dealership asking him if everything was ok. He said no and explained he felt as if he was being ripped off.

The manager was very rude and nasty. After a 20 minutes of going back and forth. The manager told him to bring the car back and get his money back. We went and took the car back.

Signed a paper releasing the contract and paper stating this will not appear on his credit. He got his down payment back and we left relieved to not have deal with jd again.

I purchased a vehicle from JD Byrider in Indianapolis, Indiana. Much to my dismay it has broken down as soon as the warranty is up.

Now I am stuck with a car that is not worth nothing along with a payment which will probably worsen my credit, because I refuse to pay for a vehicle that I cant use. SEE YOU IN COURT JD By Fraud.

I had never heard of this company until 2 months ago. I was at a birthday party and someone there told us about an experience she had that involved this company a while back.

A tow truck showed up at her residence, the driver got out walked around to the back of the residence and then tried to open her garage doors. She ask what he was doing and he said he was there to pick up a car and he had the paperwork to do so. He was a nice fellow and gave her the phone number of the location in Lynchburg Virginia. She called and they knew nothing of this.

A few minutes later the tow truck was back, he has a police officer with him and he gives the officer some paperwork, tells him that she was refusing to return property and the vehicle is in the garage. She tells the officer that she does not own a vehicle like that and he is welcome to search the garage. The garage is opened, he looks and there is just an old Cuda sitting on one side and her husbands wood shop in the other 2 doors. Few days later she gets letter to either return the car or she will be charged with theft.

She calls an attorney, he checks into it, appears someone with same name did purchase a car and not made payments, the person moved from the Lynchburg address and when they tried to locate, her address came up.

Ironically, she did reside in Lynchburg while attending Liberty University and graduated in 1990. I can happen.

My Boyfriend just purchased a car from JD and attempted to take it back less than 24 hrs later and was told no. Did some research and the Watton Group is trying to get a class action lawsuit started. Email them with your JD story at:info@***.com

Why are all the comments to ppls complaints mean? Probably written by the ppl that rip you off at the place!

You were forced into buying a car? That is a crock!

You know you had a few days to look around, and could have gotten a rental car. Plus, YOU HAVE BAD CREDIT! Be happy they financed you for a car. They have to hike up the prices because YOU ARE A HIGH RISK LOAN!

Think about what you write before you write it. And the part about suing the company if your credit is not excellent? The whole point is to ESTABLISH GOOD CREDIT by PAYING ON TIME. THEY CAN'T WIPE OUT ALL OF YOUR BAD CREDIT!!

Who do you think they are?

THEY FINANCED YOU FOR A CAR, AND GAVE YOU A WARRANTY. BE HAPPY AND STOP WHINING!
